'shroom burgers..
A different take on the typical burger- quick, easy and very tasty. Oh, and healthy as well. Preparation time: 25mins Cook time :10mins Serves 4
Ingredients
You will need
2 cups walnuts, halves and pieces
2 cups chopped mushrooms
1 cup chopped beetroot
2 cloves of pealed garlic or 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/2 cup chopped red onion
1 teaspoon of paprika
1 tablespoon dried parsley
sea salt
cracked black pepper
1/2 cup finely chopped basil or sage
2 tablespoons cassava or tapioca flour
3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil or avocado oil
8 lettuce leaves
1 Hass avocado, peeled, pit removed and sliced
1 egg and teaspoon of xanthum gum (optional )
